Mussels at Sweet Basil are the only way to go. ALWAYS fabulous. Tender, sweet and never overcooked. Their breads also impress. The staff is super efficient, but not intrusive, just the right amount of attention to score well. The house coffee is a nice meal topper, perfectly blended and smooth.

Another amazing meal at Sweet Basil. Owner/Chef Dave is an ever present personality at this intimate establishment. His food is fresh, creative and varied. The portions are large and filling, with suprise uses of ingredients. Always worth a visit - never disappointed. The mussles are spectacular.

Pros: Great variety and specials, wonderful use of spices and a richness of taste and texture. And the aroma is amazing. Cons: Small bathroom and long wait - but always worth it.

My wife and I enjoyed one of the finest meals out we've had in a long time. Sweet Basil serves consistently excellent food, and the owner/chef is a great guy besides!

This is my favorite restaurant by far. Dishes are delicious and huge, so I usually split. The goat cheese salad, mussles, and Chicken cattacitore (?) are amazing. Love the ambiance, but be prepared to wait and be a little snug...it just comes with the place but is part of the experience...it is worth it. Take out a good option as well.
