| I was there at 4 in the morning. It's a favorite food stop whenever I'm passing through the area. Try the jelly sticks. And contrary to another reviewer, who manages to find something salvagable in corporate churned out donuts... The Donut Dip french cruller is KING! |

| after so many rave reviews this didn't deliver for me. french cut donuts were almost too wet, too many eggs maybe? they should be light and airy, mine was heavy and laden with egg yolks. Yuk. Tried a creme filled and while I was told it was real whipped creme, let me say as a creme freak, this was NOT whipped creme. instead, it was a mixture of 50/50 frosting and imitation creme. that was a huge disappointment. I wasn't too sold on the pricing either... average to expensive is how I found the costs. Being an independent vs chain operation I have to say it was nice to revisit something vintage and fun but the fresheness and product finish isn't what I was expecting at all. I doubt I'd return too soon. The king of the French Cruller remains Dunkin Donuts. |
